WANTED IN THURSTON AND MASON COUNTY —
Police are asking for your help to find a suspect who detectives believe is involved in at least six armed robberies so far including holdups in Olympia, Tumwater and Shelton.
Thurston County Prosecutors have charged 42-year-old Joshua Giles with Robbery in the 1st Degree. Detectives say he is considered ‘Armed and Dangerous’.
Surveillance video from an AM/PM on the west side of Olympia on Feb. 10th shows one of the armed robberies that Olympia detectives say Giles is accused of committing. The suspect demanded cash and scratch lottery tickets and while holding a handgun.
Police say they identified Giles as the suspect in part because he was wearing a distinct pair of distressed jeans with a number of clear cuts in them during all of the robberies. Detectives say it’s the same pair of jeans visible on surveillance video during a robbery at Eagan’s Westside Drive-In last month. The suspect didn’t show a gun in that robbery, but detectives say he does have something over his hand suggesting there is weapon. He ordered the employee to get on the ground until he was gone.
Shelton Police say Giles is a suspect in a robbery of a Dominos Pizza. During the investigation, police located surveillance video from Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton that shows Giles wearing the same distressed jeans with his face fully visible. Olympia Police also matched his strut as he walks into the casino with surveillance of him walking before another robbery. Even though his face is covered, the pants are still visible. 
In addition, court documents show police interviewed a witness who knew Giles a 'T' and saw him give scratch lottery tickets to 45-year-old Joshua Trueblood at the casino to cash for him because he didn't have an ID. Detectives say surveillance video shows Trueblood cashing the stolen scratch lottery tickets taken during the Olympia AM/PM Robbery in Shelton. Detectives say have probable cause to arrest him for Possession of Stolen Property and he is wanted for questioning in connection with the series of robberies. 
Detectives say Giles has been seen driving a white box truck at two of the robberies. Detectives say the truck has not been found and Giles may have taken off to Arizona. They are asking for any information on his whereabouts. 
Giles is said to have very few teeth, so that may help you spot him if he's not still wearing those ripped jeans.
He is 5'10" 180 lbs.
