WANTED IN SEATTLE —
Seattle Police are trying to identify a robbery suspect who attacked the manager at the Dollar Store on University Way on March 23rd.
Detectives say an employee recognized him as a shoplifting suspect from the previous day. When the manager confronted him and told him to leave the store, police say he became hostile and assaulted the manager. “This guy`s probably not going to stop either,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “It’s too easy for them to just run around and steal, but in this case, now we have a felony robbery case on this suspect.”
Detectives say the suspect frequents the University District and possibly the Lake City area.
They think he’s 22 to 29 years old, 5’10”, 140 pounds and clean shaven. He was wearing a light blue down/puffy jacket and tan pants.
