WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY —
An innocent woman caught in the crossfire of a street shooting — is hit in the jaw.
Pierce County detectives say the triggerman is Jaykeen Huff and they need your help finding him.
The chaos erupted last week in Parkland.
The victim was sitting in traffic on a busy street, next to a house where detectives say a fight erupted near the road, ending with Huff firing off several wild shots — one of the bullets blowing through the woman’s car window and hitting her in the face.
“We’re really lucky in this particular case we didn’t have anybody killed or more people injured. Even though the lady took a round in her head, hit her jaw, she’s going to survive it. But, this is somebody who was shooting indiscriminately at moving vehicles and in a neighborhood where it could have been a lot worse. So, we know he’s armed, we know who he is and we know he knows we’re looking for him, so we’re going to need the public’s help to get him caught.”
Detectives say Huff took off in a green SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
His felony warrant is for drive-by shooting and two counts of first degree assault.
He’s 21 years old, 5’7” and weighs 210 pounds.
Detectives say he frequents the Seattle and Federal Way areas.
