WANTED IN TACOMA —
Tacoma Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect who robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant at 9:05 p.m. on Friday, June 15th in the 5300 block of Pacific Ave. S.

“He displayed a silver handgun that’s very distinctive and demanded money. We’ve not been able to identify him and we’re asking for the public’s help. The picture shows a good portion of his face. If you know this person, or think you recognize him, don’t approach him. He obviously already pointed a handgun at a clerk, in a store, so you consider him ‘armed and dangerous,'” said Tacoma Police Ofc. Loretta Cool.

The suspect is a described as a light-skinned black male, in his late teens or early 20’s, slender build and approximately 5’8” tall.

The suspect was seen wearing a black puffy coat, a red hooded sweatshirt, a black hat, black gloves and gray sweatpants.

Receive up to $1,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest and charges in the case if you can help detectives identify him.

Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), or use the P3 Tips App on your smart phone. It is anonymous.

Tyler Obrien: ‘Armed and dangerous’ felon, wanted burglary suspect seen wearing safety vest before break-in

WANTED IN KING COUNTY —
Take a look at the video showing who King County detectives say is Tyler Obrien burglarizing a home in Des Moines — stealing three firearms.

Obrien is charged with burglary in that case, but King County Sheriff’s detectives are also searching for him after he was caught on surveillance camera checking the doors to a home on Rainier Ave. S. in Skyway while wearing a safety vest. That video is from the morning of May 18th. The following afternoon, the victims came home to find their place burglarized.

“If you ever see anybody with a vest on, I would be highly suspicious. That seems to be a newer tactic that we`re seeing lately. I`ve seen multiple burglaries where the people are wearing these vests, because they`re trying to look like they`re workers,” said King County Sgt. Ryan Abbott.

Deputies say Obrien used to live in Tacoma and frequents the Renton and Skyway areas.

He's got a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Jason” in large letters.

Detectives say he should be considered ‘armed and dangerous’ and they expect him to have one of the stolen guns on him.

His criminal history includes convictions for multiple stolen vehicles, stolen property, attempting to elude police, identity theft and residential burglary.

“Besides the vest, you can tell from the video that he knows what he`s doing. He`s wearing gloves, which a lot of people will wear in hopes that they won`t leave their fingerprints behind. He`s got multiple bags with him, meaning that he`s expecting to take a lot of items, so he knows what he`s doing, this is most likely, not the first or second burglary he`s done. He`s probably a repeat offender, which is why we got to get him off the street and get him behind bars, right away,” said Sgt. Abbott.

He’s 6'3” and weighs 255 pounds.

If you can tell deputies where to find him, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward of up to $1,000. Just call the hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), or use the P3 Tips App on your smart phone. It is anonymous.

DNA leads to charges after sexual assault victim jams finger up suspect’s nose

SEATTLE -- King County prosecutors have charged a suspect in a 2014 sexual assault on a woman walking home in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle.  The victim who asked not to be identified when Q13 News interviewed her said a man tried to drag her into an open and dark parking lot on 2nd Ave.

Detectives say he grabbed her breasts and put his hand down her pants as she fought back.  “My main mission was to stay up on my feet.  All I could do is go for his face, so I was just punching, scratching and, at some point, my hand got up his nose and I was twisting.  I was in full defense mode,” she said.

According to court documents, a DNA sample taken from her finger after she stuck it in the suspect's nostril during the fight identified 35-year-old Jose Luis Tum-Coronado as the suspect.  His DNA was collected and entered into CODIS after he was convicted in Georgia for Armed Robbery.

Belltown sexual assault victim recounts attack: ‘All I could do is go for his face’

Prosecutors have charged him with Indecent Liberties and requested a $500,000 bail once he is extradited back to Washington state.  He is currently serving a two year sentence in the Central State Prison in Macon, Georgia.

Probable cause documents show that on June 19th, a Seattle Police detective traveled to Georgia to interview Tum-Coronado.  The suspect told him he attended Roosevelt High School and worked at the Silver Cloud Hotel in Seattle.  He said he often would go into bars located west from the Space Needle.

The victim said she was assaulted around 1 a.m. on Jan. 18 when she was walking from lower Queen Anne to her apartment in Belltown.  She noticed a man following her.  “When I was walking down the sidewalk, I just felt someone behind me so I crossed the street to try to get away,” she said

Surveillance video shows the victim walking, and then a man approaching behind her.  She says she tried to turn up a street to get to a busier area, but ran into a trap when the man met up with her near a crosswalk. “When I went to walk past him, he grabbed me by my shoulders,” she said. “That look in his eye, he was totally in predatory mode.”

Tum-Coronado said he couldn't remember what happened the night of the attack but that justice needs to be served and he's ready to face the consequences, saying, "I think that I was drunk and I ran into the female, and I tried to touch her and she grabbed me. I don't how how it happened, she could've scratched me or whatever. And that's how my DNA was found on her but if they have my DNA, I would declare myself guilty and face my case."  He then asked the detective to apologize to the victim on his behalf.

Help ID burger-loving bad guy seen using credit card stolen from home burglary

WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY —
Take a look at this burger-loving bad guy.

He’s a fraud suspect who Pierce County detectives say used a credit card stolen from a home burglary in Gig Harbor on June 20th to feast at two fast food joints: A McDonald’s in Gig Harbor soon after the break-in and just minutes away from the home and later that night at Burger Express in Federal Way.

Detectives say getting him identified could help solve a slew of crimes.

“What’s great about taking burglary suspects off the streets is when we do find them we find lots of stolen property from many burglaries and when we catch a group or a person doing burglaries, we put an end to that ring,” said Pierce County Det. Ed Troyer. “This was an extensive burglary. The burglars made a mistake when they went and used the credit card that was stolen, because we got good pictures of their vehicle and of one of the suspects and if there’s more, we’re going to find out, but we’re hoping that somebody from the public and identify this truck and this person, because whoever it is is out there doing burglaries constantly.” Detectives say the crooks also stole a computer and thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from the Gig Harbor home. They got in by prying a window open and ransacked the place.

The pickup the suspect drove is a red 4-door Toyota with black rims.

Detectives think he’s white, in his 20’s, with a medium build, scruffy facial hair and wearing that ‘American Youth’ shirt.

If you know his name, use the P3 Tips App to submit the information to Crime Stoppers, or call the hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

It’s anonymous and you’ll get a cash reward if your tip helps lead to his arrest.

KENT, Wash. —

Tuesday morning, Kent Police received a 911 call about a domestic verbal dispute involving Washington’s Most Wanted fugitive Kerry Toniago Edwards Jr.  aka ‘Lil Kerry’. Retiring Bellevue Police officer honored after distinguished career

BELLEVUE, Wa -- Friends and colleagues honored a 35 year veteran police officer in Bellevue this week as he retires after a distinguished career.

At a party in his honor, Major Steve Lynch received his retirement credentials Wednesday from the Deputy City Mayor of Bellevue.

Lynch started out as a Fircrest Police officer before transferring to Bellevue Police, where he worked his way up to Detective, then Lieutenant, Captain and finally Major.

He says one of his biggest cases was the capture of the 'Shootist' bank robber in 1994, who had held up 56 banks across the country over eight years. "His signature and the reason they called him the ‘Shootist’ is he always fired a shot every time he did his bank robbery, so I was kind of the person in Washington, along with the local FBI that dealt with that,” said newly Ret. Maj. Lynch.

So, what's the first thing he did in retirement? He got a root canal on Thursday.

The Careaga’s were killed 18 months ago, this weekend.

16 year old Hunter, his brother Jonathan, his father and stepmom were all killed.

The billboards are on 6th St. and Bryan Ave. in Bremerton. “Everybody that walks, or drives by that, sees those faces. It’s a constant reminder and it well should be until we get this thing solved,” said Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.

Help ID ‘grab and go’ golf club crooks

WANTED IN TACOMA —
If you can identify either of these thieves who stole thousands of dollars’ worth of clubs from Puetz Golf in Tacoma earlier this month, the reward money you get will be enough for you to buy your own club!

“You’re going to see both suspects, they’re walking down the walkway that leads into the store, they just walk in like any normal person going to buy something,” describes Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “It’s about 12:30 in the afternoon. You watch them on the tape and they stay together for quite a while, at one point they split up a little bit, but they keep looking at clubs, I think they’re looking at brand names and seeing where the expensive ones are, it’s sort of an in-store casing, so to speak. And, you’ll watch them on tape, they wind around for a while, then the black suspect walks over to the clubs and all of a sudden he grabs about three clubs, these are high-end clubs, about $1,500 worth and the other guy is leading him and all of a sudden the first suspect opens the door and the black male follows and they just take off running. It’s really irritating, because I’m an avid golfer and I look at the cost to replace those items, it’s a lot of money, so when I go there the next time to buy those clubs, I’m going to pay for those guys stealing them.”

The black suspect’s believed to be in his mid-20’s and about 5’9” with a thin build.

The second suspect’s described as Hispanic, also in his mid-20’s and about 5’5” with a medium build.

If you can tell Tacoma Police the names of these two golf club crooks, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477), or use the P3 Tips App to submit the information anonymously.

Help ID tip-stealing armed Subway robber who told worker, ‘Don’t take this personal, bro!’

$

WANTED IN SEATTLE —
“Don’t take this personal, bro.” Words this armed robber spewed to a Subway worker in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood last week. Tough not to take it personal when a guy has a gun and is stealing your tip money.

Now, Seattle Police are asking for your help to identify him.

He struck while the worker was in back of the shop and away from the register. “Suspect enters the front door and approaches the till area,” describes Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “Now, it’s a little aggravating to me, he just reaches in the tip jar, takes all that money, sticks it in his pocket like it’s nothing, then the clerk comes out and you see him kind of going, like, ‘What?’ And, the suspect says, ‘Don’t take this personal, bro, I just need the money. Let’s go! Let’s go! Next the you see is the clerk, he’ll punch the till, it opens up and he give him all the money. Now, I’m going to lean on you for some observation skills. In the right hand of the suspect, he’s carrying a very small, semi-automatic weapon. He’s also wearing some gloves, they look like driving gloves, because the fingers are exposed, but when he reaches toward the money, he turns his palms upward, which means he doesn’t want to leave his fingerprints. Now, what does that say? It tells me this is not his first job, he probably does this as an MO, doesn’t want to leave his prints, so he then takes the money, he hurriedly just walks out of the store and disappears. I want you to take a really good look at the logo on the hat. It’s very distinctive. Somebody will know exactly what this logo means, could be a local brand, we don’t know, but take a good look at that. Also, take a good look at his facial features. He’s got a little bit of a patchy goatee, we’re not sure whether it’s a scar next to it, it kind of looks like it, but take a good look at his face. This guy is probably well-known around the area, he’s wandering around, the chances of him doing another robbery are pretty good.”

Detectives think he's possibly Hispanic with light brown to olive skin, 20 to 35 years old, 5’8”, with a medium build and, again, what could be a scar or birthmark on his chin, or lower lip area.

This guy makes me so mad. Here's an innocent worker just doing his job. Making sandwiches and not much money and having to get preyed on like this. "Could be your son. Could be your brother. It could be you. I mean, he’s working for minimum wage and then the suspect has the gall to steal his tips on top of it, I mean, c'mon, this is really irritating the investigators,” said Carner.

If you know who this armed robber is, use the P3 Tips App to submit the information to Crime Stoppers, or call the hot line at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

CAPTURED ––  July 29, 2018

Michael Coggins was booked into the King County jail on Thursday, July 26th. He is being held without bail.  This is a developing story and will be updated as new information becomes available on the details of his arrest.

WANTED IN KING COUNTY —
An owl and playing cards on his neck. ‘Irish Pride’ inked across his throat: Tattoos to help spot fugitive Michael Coggins, who could be hiding in the Vancouver/Portland area.

Coggins is wanted in King County for being a felon with a firearm — a charge he’s skipping court on after getting pulled over in SeaTac. “He didn’t have a back license plate on his vehicle, which caused some suspicion. Deputies pulled him over and after talking to him and getting consent to search his vehicle, they located a loaded handgun in a backpack, in the backseat of the car. The problem with that is that Michael Coggins is a convicted felon, so he is unable to own, have possession, touch, be around a gun, period,” said King County Sgt. Ryan Abbott. “The detectives are having a hard time finding him, he doesn’t have an actual address, last we had heard he was homeless. If anybody sees him, or knows where he’s at, send Crime Stoppers an anonymous tip and let us know where he’s at, so we can arrest him. We need to get him back in.”

Coggins is also wanted by the Department of Corrections for breaking probation on a conviction for dealing powerful anxiety pills.

The photo above shows Coggins standing in front of the car he got pulled over in that he could still be driving. It’s a silver 2006 Chrysler 300 4-door with Washington license plates AWL5199.

Detectives say Coggins is a self-proclaimed ‘Gangsta Disciple.’

You can see from all the photos below that he’s got ink all over his body, not just the tattoos on his neck and throat.

He’s 25 years old, 5’6” and weighs 185 pounds.

Detectives think he could be hiding around Seattle, Vancouver, or Portland.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips to find Coggins.

Submit an anonymous tip by using the P3 Tips App on your phone, or by calling the hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

CAPTURED — Bainbridge Island Police say Ariana Miller was arrested on June 15, 2018.  She is being held without bail in the Kitsap County jail on charges of Forgery, Identity Theft and Failure to Appear in Court.  She is scheduled to make her next court appearance on August 21st.

FUGITIVE UPDATE June 8, 2018 —
Bainbridge Island Police say thanks to a Washington’s Most Wanted viewer — detectives have identfied a prolific check fraud suspect as 42-year-old Ariana Miller.  Now, she is wanted by police and known to frequent casinos including the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, WA.

“We got a call from a tipster who gave us some information on who it was and we ran with that to postively identify our subject as Ariana Miller,” said Bainbridge Island Police Det. Erik Peffer. “When we ran her in our local system and in our statewide system we found that she had criminal history in numerous counties across Washington and numerous cities, even as far south as Portland, Oregon. With Ariana, she’s kind of a drifter and is a couch surfer, spends time just with random people up and down the coast of Washington, so she’s been as far south as, again, Portland, with numerous people. The last known location that we had of her was in Mason County. She had a boyfriend that was out there and they’re no longer together so we really don’t where she’s at. She spends a lot of time in casinos. I’d really like to get her, just because of her criminal history and all the stuff that she’s done the last couple of years all across Washington, it would be great to stop her.”

Her criminal history includes ID Theft and Residential Burglary.  She was last known to drive a brown, 2007 Nissan Murano  License Plate # BJF0338 is registered to her.   She has criminal history in King County, Cowlitz County, Thurston County, Mason County, Lewis County, Olympia, Kent, and as far south as Portland, OR.

Bainbridge Island Police need to know the name of the woman above who’s seen on a restaurant surveillance enjoying a meal on someone else's dime.

It was at the Westport Winery near Aberdeen -- one of many businesses and services across Western Washington where detectives say she used checks stolen from a Bainbridge Island woman's mailbox.

"This case goes for almost six weeks, so starting in February, it goes all the way to mid-March,” said Bainbridge Island Police Det. Erik Peffer. “She doesn't fit the typical profile for someone that breaks into mailboxes and then uses checks. She's using these checks to buy groceries, or to purchase food at restaurants as we saw in one of the videos, to take people out. I really want to get her, because six weeks is a long time and in my opinion, very brazen just to be writing known stolen checks all across Washington, without even being worried about getting caught and whoever it is, is obviously very comfortable at this point."The map above shows the span of her crime spree: She started in Silverdale, made her way west to Grays Harbor County, then came back to Kitsap county, writing the last two checks in Poulsbo and Bremerton.

Her route makes detectives think she's probably from the Kitsap County area and may have been on vacation.

Detectives have another possible person they'd like to talk to, as well. "There were also three checks written on the 3rd of February to somebody by the name of William Allen. That's definitely a person of interest for us, because we don't know who this William Allen is, but there are notes on the check that it's for labor and invoices to Lowe's. Now, I've checked with different Lowe's and they don't know who William Allen is, but it's very possible that he's a subcontractor for some kind of work, so if anyone knows a subcontractor for Lowe's, by the name of William Allen, that would be great if we could get that information,” said Det. Peffer.

So, if the name William Allen rings a bell, or if you know who this check fraud suspect is, use the P3 Tips App to submit your information to Crime Stoppers or call the hot line at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

It's anonymous and you'll get a cash reward if your tip helps lead to her arrest.
