GOLDENDALE, Wash. – One escaped inmate has been arrested and authorities are still searching for another who escaped from the Goldendale Department of Natural Resources fire work crew on August 15th.

Washington State Department of Corrections has identified the men as, Tyray Munter, 30, and Maksim Petrovskiy, 22.

Portland police arrested Munter Wednesday morning, and said Petrovskiy was still on the run. He was serving time for car theft in Snohomish County and officers think he’s probably using a stolen vehicle now.

“We know that he has ties in Snohomish County and we’ve been making efforts to look there for him and we know that he has a vehicle, so could be in the Portland area, but we’re thinking a lot of times these offenders will come to the areas that they call home,” said Department of Corrections Ofc. Jeff Sargent. “I feel, as a law enforcement officer, a certain sense of responsibility to reacquire him back into custody to serve out the remainder of his time.”

If you know where he is, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information.

Correctional employees noticed the men were missing when an inmate recount was performed about 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15.

The facility notified local and state law enforcement, Oregon State Patrol and activated Inmate Recovery Teams.

The two were later spotted in Portland, the DOC said. “Tip came in after they left the area,” Washington DOC said in a tweet.

Munter was convicted of assault 2 and theft 2 out of Snohomish County and began serving his 72-month sentence on June 28, 2016. His expected release date had been tentatively set for May 2, 2020.

Petrovskiy was convicted of taking a motor vehicle without permission and possession of a stolen vehicle out of Snohomish County and began serving his 33-month sentence on April 18, 2017. His expected release date had been tentatively set for December 8, 2018.

Olympic Corrections Center is located near Forks, Wash. and houses approximately 380 minimum custody male inmates. Goldendale, Wash. is located in south central Washington, 70 miles south of Yakima, Wash.

Washington State Department of Corrections has identified the men as, Tyray Munter, 30, and Maksim Petrovskiy, 22.

WANTED IN LAKEWOOD —
Lakewood Police need help identifying a pair of violent gas station robbers.

Detectives say they hit the Sun Pacific Energy gas station on Steilacoom Blvd. last month and assaulted the clerk.

Detectives hope their really distinctive sportswear will help get them identified. “The main suspect, suspect #1 is wearing a basketball jersey for the Detroit Pistons. It’s blue with the #31 on it. The other guy’s wearing an orange Detroit jacket,” described Lt. Chris Lawler. “You’ll see from the pictures that the clothing is the most distinctive. It’s pretty loud clothing, so if you’ve seen these guys or know them, it’s something they probably wear a lot. One guys got his face covered and the other suspect doesn’t and it’s pretty evident if you know this guy you’ll be able to recognize him from the pictures. The investigator, at this point, is running out of leads and he came to us and said, ‘Hey! Put it on social media. Let’s see if we can get the public’s help with this,’ so if somebody knows we’d gladly follow up and make an arrest if we could.”

It’s an old Darko Milicic jersey that the main suspect’s wearing with Milicic’s last name on the back. Detectives think he’s about 6’ tall, weighs around 180 pounds and wore black shoes with red laces.

His cohort wearing the Detroit Tigers baseball hat and jacket is believed to be around 6’ tall and 200 pounds.

If you can tell Lakewood Police their names, call the hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS (84770, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information to Crime Stoppers.

WMW Pervert Alert for suspect targeting young girls in Snohomish

WANTED IN SNOHOMISH —
Do you recognize this man who groped a girl on a trail last week in Snohomish?

The girls, whose ages range from 12 to 8 years-old, told deputies they were walking near the 600 block of Ave A around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21 when officers say he allegedly touched one of the girls, then fled the area on foot.

A woman in the area walking her dog, as well as the girls, describe the suspect as:

  • White
  • Approximately 6’0″
  • 170-180 lbs.
  • Short, dark brown hair
  • Dark red t-shirt
  • Black basketball shorts
  • Dark sneakers
  • Black backpack

Master Patrol Deputy Leyda with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office created the sketch.

The trail starts in the 600 block of Avenue A and leads all the way to the Snohomish Aquatic Center, which is owned and operated by the Snohomish School District.

"We've had another one that is also very concerning. It was about six blocks away from this initial incident. This one was a luring one. Same type of victims, approximately 11 years old, two girls walking down the street. A man who has a similar description to our first incident is in a vehicle. It's described as a black, perhaps Ford Taurus, an older one. It's one of those vehicles where the grill is the same color as the body of the car, we guess maybe from the 80s or early 90s. This individual stops, rolls down his window and starts chatting with the girls and offers to take both of the girls back to his house to go in his hot tub. The girls were smart. They said no and they kept walking so this individual we think may be connected to our first incident," said Snohomish Police Chief John Flood.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact the Snohomish Police Department at 360-568-0888.

If you want to remain anonymous and collect a cash reward of up to $1,000, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App on your phone.

You must submit the information to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the cash reward.

Rescued dog stolen in Seattle after being saved from Texas kill shelter spotted in Beacon Hill

UPDATE:  Miles had been staying with someone in Georgetown by the Georgetown Playfield but he escaped 6 days ago. “They didn’t know he was stolen,” said Miriam Kelly.  They discovered Seattle Police and Kelly had been looking for him when they went online to begin their own search.  She says Miles was spotted in Beacon Hill three days ago at 18th Avenue S and S Orcas St. Call 911 immediately if you see him.

SEATTLE — Seattle Police are asking for help to find a stolen 1-year-old brown and white American Pit Bull named Miles.  He weighs approximately 50 pounds and is bearing a microchip.

Miles was rescued by Miriam Kelly from a high kill shelter in Texas and made the long journey to WA state to be fostered. “I promised Miles he would find a better life here and I am devastated that he is now in unknown circumstances. He may also be sick as he was having diarrhea the day he was stolen. I was actually on my way to Seattle to pick him up to take him to the vet when I got the message that he was unaccounted for,” said Kelly.

On Tuesday, May 2nd at 1902 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle, the man who was fostering him allowed a male acquaintance to take Miles out to do his business. That man failed to return with the dog. He was seen boarding Bus 7 towards Renton so Miles could be anywhere along that bus line or in Renton or further South.

Police contacted the man and determined he had given Miles to a transient on May 6th who kept him for one day and gave him to another transient who said he knew someone with a dog for the yard. Initially, police say the 3rd man who had Miles was cooperative and agreed to notify the 4th male that police were looking for the dog. Now, both Transient #3 and Transient #4 cannot be found.

“We do not have a facility so we have to use foster homes. Unfortunately, sometimes those foster homes can turn out to not be a good choice like in the case with Miles and there isn’t a moment of the day I don’t regret leaving him there,” said Kelly who has continued to search for Miles.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Miles is asked to call or email the West Precinct Detective Unit at (206-684-5730) and/or westdetectives@seattle.gov or call Crime Stoppers if you want to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

“He’s got a bag full of tools and it could be you next,” says victim in Shoreline condo burglary

SHORELINE — Shoreline Police are asking for the public’s help to ID a burglary suspect at a condo building along Hwy 99.  Surveillance video from 4:16 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30th shows the suspect wearing a Marshawn Lynch jersey, black Oakley ball cap, yellow work boots and carrying a backpack using a wrench to break open a key box outside the front door.

The key inside it was old and wouldn’t work but he had the door code on a piece of paper and was able to use that to get inside.  “We have a building full of people now who are afraid because he can get into any entrance he wants at any time he wants to,” said Jodi Dills.

The suspect used a screwdriver to try to break into the mailboxes and then took the elevator down to the parking garage where he prowled several vehicles.  “We have to change the locks. We have to change the code. We have to change the remote control because he got one out of cars on each level, so yeah. It’s a lot of work and a lot of expense,” said Dills.

It’s not the first time they have had issues with intruders. “It’s a problem. It’s a constant problem,” said Dills.  Most recently, a woman broke into the building and another man urinated in their elevator . “Aurora has brought us an enormous amount of traffic, foot traffic. We have people who sit out on the front porch who charge their telephones, smoke cigarettes but there’s not a lot we can do about it at 2 o’clock in the morning,” said Dills.

However, this latest case is the most disturbing. “He knows what he’s doing. He’s got a bag full of tools and it could be you next,” said Dills.

The suspect is white, in his 20’s or 20’s with a thin build. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who can identify the suspect. If you know his name, submit the information by using the P3 Tips App on your phone or call 1-800-222-TIPS. Reference Shoreline PD Case # C17043019.

‘Fat Stack Bandit:’ Help ID smooth-talking casino crook seen stealing cash from teller’s drawer

$

0

LAKEWOOD — Take a good look at this the suspect we’re calling the ‘Fat Stack Bandit’ after he stole $3,500 from Chips Casino in Lakewood, on July 31st.  He has still not been identified but agents with the Washington State Gambling Commission say he was wearing an Auburn Riverside HS Football or Auburn Raven’s Youth Football cap. Both logos are similar.

Watch the video below and prepare to be entertained and awed at the boldness shown by the suspect:

The theft begins with the suspect walking up to the teller to change a $100 bill and starts pouring on the charm, saying to the teller, "Hey! Hey! If you need me to borrow some of that money for you, I will. I'll hold it for you baby."

"What's interesting about this case is that not only do we have video of the crime but we have audio as well,” said Heather Songer with the Washington State Gambling Commission.

You can clearly hear him as he continues to chat up the clerk like a real smooth talker. "So, if you’re not married, do you want to get married?” The teller says no, but he doesn’t give up. “I'm going to St. Croix next week. Wanna come with me? I know this is going to sound weird but I have a fetish for older women. I've never dated a girl my age. No listen. I'm serious. Are we being recorded here? That's fine. If they pay attention they might learn something, ok?

What he's really doing is eyeballing the cash he can see in the drawer, that's when a woman walks up next to him and when the clerk turns her back you can hear him telling her to steal the money in the drawer. She won’t do it, so he tells her to move aside so he can do it himself, but doesn’t strike right away, first saying to the teller, “I'm still here waiting for my response. I'm not going anywhere.” Finally, when the teller turns her back one more time, you see him slowly stretch out his arm and grab a huge stack of cash before taking off.

“The suspect was cool, calm and collected during the entire incident which leads us to believe this probably isn't the first time he's pulled a stunt like this and unless he's caught, it probably won't be his last,” said Songer.

Fortunately, casino cameras got a good look at him. "The suspect in the surveillance video actually has a pretty identifiable hat that he wears during the crime. We are hoping somebody will put that together with his face, probably his voice and get him identified,” adds Songer.

If you know who the ‘Fat Stack Bandit” is, call Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information. It’s anonymous and there is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to his arrest.

Justice for Mickey: $4,000 reward offered for toy poodle’s killer

$

EDMONDS, Wash. — The owner of a toy poodle found stabbed to death and partially skinned in his own fenced in backyard on Friday, Aug. 25th feels time is running out to find the killer.

Paul Hensel has been out posting fliers along the Interurban Trail behind his home in the 23700 block of 74th Avenue offering a $4,000 reward for tips to identify the suspect who mutilated and killed Mickey.

“The way he went, it was so violent and he had to have been scared,” said Hensel.

Hensel said he was sitting inside just 20 yards away with the door cracked open.

"We didn't hear anything. We think he was waiting in the yard," Hensel said of the attacker.

Mickey was a little 10 1/2-pound dog that loved everyone he met. Hensel says he liked to bark at imaginary animals.

"We've had neighbors come up in tears when they found out about it," said Hensel.

Edmonds Police initially increased patrols in the area but believe Mickey's killing is an isolated incident. Still, they are warning people to keep a close eye on their pets and asking for leads on any suspicious people on the Interurban Trail.

"If anybody knows someone who may have a tendency to hurt animals or so forth, that's something we would like to know about. That's something that would be helpful information and point us in the right direction," said Sgt. Shane Hawley.

So, how could somebody be so cruel?

Pasado's Safe Haven is funding a third of the reward because they know this behavior will escalate and get worse.

“As this behavior escalates, people who have crossed this moral line of being able to harm another living being, in our experience in hundreds of these case it always gets worse.  As they progress up from one crime to the next, they are always looking for something more gruesome, more hurtful and to cause more suffering," said Executive Director Laura Henderson.

If you have any information that can help solve this case or identify a suspect, call 911 or Edmonds Police at
(425) 771-0200.

You can also submit an anonymous tip at http://www.edmondswa.gov/police/anonymous-tip.html. or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

‘I should be dead’: Victim of Seattle hit-and-run calls on driver to come forward

SEATTLE — Hit-and-run victim Alene Rosen, 61, spent three weeks at Harborview Medical Center. She couldn’t walk for almost a month. She was out of work for nearly eight weeks and in a back brace for the past three months.

On Wednesday, she showed Q13 News her 11 1/2-inch incision — but it’s the emotional scar of the accident that will last forever.

Rosen was on her way into work June 1 when the part-time legal assistant was on Spring Street, crossing Third Avenue in Seattle’s Central District.

“I looked to my right very quickly and then I immediately looked to my left and all of the sudden I see this car barreling down the street about 25 miles an hour,” Rosen said.

The driver plowed right into Rosen. The entire accident was caught on a Metro bus camera.

“I was thrown on top of the front of the car and tossed out onto the intersection here at about 30 feet,” said Rosen, pointing back at the scene of the crime.

Rosen's shoulder was shattered and two of her vertebraes broken after the collision flung her body up and over the car and into the intersection.

It was a shocking sight for witnesses, who say an unidentified black man behind the wheel made an illegal turn before speeding off.

But it was the driver's complete disregard for her injuries that had many scratching their heads.

“He just hit her and kept right on going,” said retired Detective Myrle Carner of Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.

“There was two people in the crosswalk. There's no way he couldn't have seen her,” said Carner. “This was a deliberate hit and run -- a felony hit and run -- and we're fortunate the lady didn't die.”

The driver drove off in what Crime Stoppers called a “conspicuous” light blue 4-door, '92 Buick LeSabre with chrome rims.

It's a car that's been haunting Rosen since the collision.

“I should be dead,” said Rosen. “I don’t know why I lived except my faith tells me that God has another reason for me to still be here.”

Her walk to work was something Rosen used to love.

“I don’t like coming to this particular intersection,” said Rosen. “I mean I will go a block around just to make myself feel better.”

In near constant pain since the accident -- all she wants is for the man who fled the scene to come forward.

“I just want him to be brave and I want him to know that he can never run away from something like this.”

Rosen only works part time and doesn't have health insurance.

She’s thankful her medical bills have been paid through Harborview Medical center's “Crime Victim’s Protection Program”.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.

Call 1-800-222-TIPS or use the p3 tips app on your phone if you can help officers locate the car or the driver. You can remain anonymous.

TACOMA, Wash. — A manager at the Cultura Event Center at 5602 S. Washington Street is still in critical condition but recovering after she was shot by two armed robbers.

“The bullet went through the her stomach and other organs so it will be a long recovery,” said owner Marvin Gaviria.

Tacoma Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the two suspects.

At 3:30 a.m. on August 26, after the business was closed, employees were inside preparing for the next day when the two suspects came in wearing masks, robbed it at gunpoint and then ran south after getting the money.

But they returned without their masks to pick up some cash they had dropped and shot the manager as she was coming down the stairs from the office.

"Seeing her at the hospital and in her condition, it just really breaks my heart because it is somebody that didn't deserve it," said Gaviria.

Detectives say both suspects are black and in their mid-20s. The suspect in the white hooded sweatshirt is approximately 5’10”, 180 pounds. The suspect in the black jacket is approximately 5’8”, 140 pounds. They are considered armed and dangerous. If you can identify either of them, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Knife-wielding robber: Help ID suspect who struck two stores within minutes

WANTED IN SEATTLE —
Seattle Police need your help identifying a drug store robber who hit quick, minutes before striking a second time.

He was well-disguised, but detectives hope his squirrelly demeanor and Detroit Red Wings hoodie helps someone recognize him.

“When you watch this video, he’s coming in and if you look close at his hand he actually has a knife in his hand,” describes Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “He approaches a clerk. The clerk has the till open, pretty much indicating that there’s no money in the till and you watch him kind of jab around. The other female clerk gets on the other side of the counter, kind of stays out of the way. It frustrates him, he then turns and leaves. As if that’s not bad enough, then he goes 15 minutes later and goes into a 7-Eleven store and pulls an armed robbery, using the knife and this time he gets money. This guy, clearly, is intent on taking anything he can from somebody by the use of a knife. The scary thing about this whole thing is, you have a knife and a clerk is trying to help, but he doesn’t get the money, so we’re fortunate we didn’t see a stabbing on this video. The fact remains that he’s going to keep doing it probably. We’re going to have a serial robbery suspect on the street, using a knife. Somebody’s going to get cut up if we don’t get him caught.”

Detectives think he's white, in his 20's, around 6’ tall and thin. He wore white sneakers, a backpack and a black bandana on his face.

If you can tell Seattle Police anything at all that can help get this guy identified, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information.

WANTED IN SEATTLE and MERCER ISLAND —
Police in two cities in Western Washington are hoping you can help identify a robbery suspect who is targeting hard working people making minimum wage — talk about low.

This past Sunday, detectives say the suspect robbed a Domino’s Pizza restaurant on Taylor Ave. N. in Seattle and it is believed to be his second case in a month.

“The suspect enters the store. He’s wearing a hoodie, a black jacket. He has a backpack on, but he hasn’t covered his face entirely. In fact, if you watch the video, you get a pretty good side view with the beard and so forth,” describes Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “So, here’s what happened. He approaches the clerk and offers to pay for some ranch dressing, so he pulls out $1 and he, in fact, pays for it and the clerk opens the register and this is when you watch closely and he takes his left hand and he reaches for the till, but the fact is, the clerk has already closed the till. At this point, the suspect tells the clerk on duty, he reaches into his pocket and says, ‘I have a gun.’ Well, out of fear for his life, the clerk re-opens the till. Suspect reaches in, grabs the money. You watch the video, a witness comes in. Looks nervous, he walks right by him and takes out the front of the store.”

When Seattle Police started checking around with other departments, they found another case from August 18th in Mercer Island that matched the suspect's description. Surveillance photos show the man police are trying to identify after he stole a wooden box full of tip money from a sushi bar. Detectives say he appears to be 25 to 30 years old and of Middle Eastern descent. "They work hard for this money, so he takes the tip money and he leaves, but the fact remains we have some pretty good still shots. The one I want you to look at mostly is a side shot of him compared to the video of the suspect in the Domino’s robbery. They look very close, so we have two robberies here. He's probably a dope addict. He's out getting just enough money for his next hit. Chances are he's going to do it again, but we need to get him off the street. Somebody knows who this individual is and we need that information."

Detectives think he's about 5'9" with a medium build, black hair and a black goatee.

Detectives say he took off from the Domino’s robbery with the driver in a red vehicle.

If you know his name, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information.

WANTED IN MOUNTLAKE TERRACE —
A shooting suspect is on the run after Washington’s Most Wanted viewer tips helped identify him as Jesus Gonzalez-Brambila.

Detectives say surveillance video shows the 39 year old paying for gas before getting into his BMW and then running over a man’s foot. Police say he shot the victim in the leg, shattering his femur, after the man approached his vehicle.

"We had that shooting a few weeks ago at our Shell station in Mountlake Terrace and with the help of Washington's Most Wanted, did a story on TV and also on Facebook and through tips that we received from Washington's Most Wanted and Crime Stoppers, we were able to positively identify our suspect. His name is Jesus Gonzalez. He was born in 1978.  He works and lives locally around here. We actually know that he is on the run. He is aware that we have identified him. We performed a warrant on his residence and we talked to some of his close friends who he lives with and it has been relayed to him that we know who he is,” said Mountlake Terrace Police Det. Sgt. Pat Lowe. "He has a propensity for violence already. He's already shot someone. He's known to be a drug abuser. He's known to use alcohol and when people aren't in their right mind, they do some pretty terrible things. I would consider Mr. Gonzalez ‘armed and dangerous.’ He's a very bad person that we want to capture quickly."

Police say Gonzalez is now driving a 2016 black Corvette Coupe, like the one below, with Washington state license BBP4593, because they impounded his BMW.

He has tattoos on his  arm that you can see in the photo below.

Gonzalez is 5’7” and weighs 190 pounds.

He’s wanted for assault in the 1st degree.

He has one minor misdemeanor conviction for driving on a suspended license, but otherwise, his record is clean.

If you can tell Mountlake Terrace Police where to find him, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or use the P3 Tips App to submit your information.
